Fashion Design Online is the very first e-classroom for computerized apparel flat pattern-making. Fashion Design Online offers professional pattern making classes taught by expert pattern makers. Our goal is to teach apparel flat pattern techniques using CAD (computer-aided design) tools to speed the fashion design process.
- All of the Fashion Design Online classes have been recorded and are available via recording only. We do not offer live classes at this time.
- Once you have registered for the class, you will see a link in your order to download your class materials and the Pattern Editor software.
Introduction to CAD
This class will introduce the CAD tools necessary to create and edit apparel patterns. A fully-functioning CAD software program is included in the price of the class. This class will cover navigation of the Pattern Editor software, creating objects, editing objects, and measuring objects.
While this class is not required for registration for other Fashion Design Online classes, the skills taught in this class are necessary to complete the other classes. Our instructors will not be able to teach you how to use the CAD program in any other class.
